Skiing Mont Blanc du Tacul – May 31 2014

Finished up our first guiding week in Chamonix France with Jasmin and Christina by skiing Mont Blanc du Tacul.   The Mont Blanc du Tacul is the first section to the “Trois monts” route to the Mont Blanc summit and on it own still at righteous peak at 4260m.   We started out early in the morning from the Cosmiques refuge to have ensure we traveled under the cold morning tempertuse.  The ascent up the steep glaciated face is really a pretty will unique endever.  The face is complex with many car swallowing crevasses and different tier exposed seracs.   Conditons where great with mid boot ski penetration and allowed us to travel quickly to the summiter only having to boot pack a few short steps.

Awesome summit and back down the Chamonix valley for lunch in the sun.

Thanks for the trip!
